The writers group is for people who like to write, people who want to share their writing, advice, or want to commit to finishing something, or sell their work! Anyone and everyone is welcome to join this group.

Join us and learn the basics of needle-felting! We will learn basic shapes and how to make ornaments like felted acorns and flat shapes like stars, circles and hearts, and then have some time to experiment and create on our own! All materials will be supplied. Free and open to the public! Sign-up is requested.
Drop-in during the week of December school vacation for Maker play fun, including Gears, Gears Gears, Magformers, Keva planks, Legos, microscopes, and other fun activities! There is lots to do for your budding inventors, creators, artists, and scientists, so stop by! This will be available any time we are open!
Bring your favorite book of 2018, or a recommendation you are dying to talk about to our first meeting of 2019! All are welcome to attend! We hope to see you there.

The John Hay Poetry Society meets the second Monday of every month at 7pm at the library, and is led by Newbury Poet Laureate Dianalee Velie.
