The Newbury Public Library and The John Hay Literary Society in Celebration of Poetry Month will be holding a reception for the winners of their poetry contest, THE BEAUTY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This reception, a Center for the Arts First Friday Event, will spotlight poems by the winning poets from all three youth categories as well as the adult poets, as judged by poet, translator, and professor Ewa Chrusciel.

The evening will also feature a poetry reading with Ewa Chrusciel.

All are invited to attend, and refreshments will be served. There is no charge for admission.
