Join us for a true crime presentation with Author Kenneth M. Sheldon. Kenneth M. Sheldon is the author of the true-crime book Deep Water—Murder, Scandal and Intrigue in a New England Town. In the closing days of World War I, William K. Dean was brutally murdered and dumped in a cistern on his New Hampshire farm. Was the murderer his wife, an elderly woman suffering from dementia? Was it his best friend, a powerful judge and banker? Or was it his former tenant, a wealthy playboy rumored to be a German spy? Deep Water is the first in-depth examination into a murder that shocked the entire region.

In addition to Deep Water, Ken has written suspense novels under the pen name Michael Manley, a series of superhero middle-grade novels for children, and Welcome to Frost Heaves, a collection of stories written as Yankee humorist Fred Marple. Ken’s articles has been featured in many publications ranging from Acoustic Guitar to Yankee Magazine. He has appeared on New Hampshire Chronicle, and on stage, the radio, and television.
