POSTPONED: Addiction in NH Communities
February 7 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This event will be postponed to a later date, TBA, due to the weather.
Wayne Miller join us from HOPE for NH Recovery in Claremont NH, whose mission is to support people impacted by addiction through lived experience on their path to well-being. We will learn general statistics about addiction in our area and the epidemic that is affecting NH and information about services available in Sullivan County and then do a Q&A with Wayne.
There will also be a training at the end of the program on administration of Narcan, which is only 10-15 minutes and provides an overview of how to use it and what to do in the event of an overdose. Participants will be able to take a free kit home with two doses included.
This program is brought to you by the Greater Sullivan County Public Health Network. The Town of Newbury is an active member of the Greater Sullivan County Public Health Network, working together for years on health issues.
