Hello!
My name is Paulina Shadowens, and I have the privilege and pleasure of being the new Assistant Director at Newbury Public Library.
For nearly thirty years I have worked in both academic and public libraries, and I can’t imagine a more rewarding career. I love helping people, whether it’s locating the just-right book, overseeing craft or lecture events that brings folks together, or hunting down a hard-to-find title.
I recently spent four months in Europe, which was delightful, but I’m a New Hampshire girl at heart. I’m so grateful to be back in this wonderful state, getting to know the Newbury community and all its great library patrons.
