Computer usage

The library has five PCs and one Google Chrome computer for available for personal (non-commercial) patron use. Generally, this number of stations is adequate but during busy service periods computer access time may need to be limited. Limitation is at the discretion of the library staff.

Scanning

The library has one photo and document scanner for personal (non-commercial) patron use.  The scanner is connected to the library’s word processing PC, and can only be used when that computer is available.  This scanner can digitize documents, photographs, photo negatives and slides.  Patrons needing any additional help or training with the scanner may book weekday appointments with one of the librarians by calling 763-5803.

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.  The person using this equipment is responsible for any infringement.

Wireless access

Wireless access is available for personal (non-commercial) patron use. The security code needed to access the wireless network may be obtained from the library staff. Library wireless access is available outside library hours.
