Join us for a virtual presentation with Carol Dana, Penobscot Language Keeper. Carol Dana is mother of six children and grandmother of fourteen grandchildren. She spends her time teaching language, writing, doing crafts, spending time with grandchildren, basketmaking and walking with her dog. His name is cacahkenom, my soul. She tells traditional stories she has researched and collaborated on publishing Transformer Tales vol. one and two as told by Newell Lyons. She is the author of two books of poetry, When No One Is Looking and Return to Spirit and Other Musings, both published by Bowman Books.

This program is presented by the Literary Arts Guild of the Center for the Arts, Lake Sunapee Region, as part of their Native American Diversity is Beautiful 2021 speaker series.
