We are very excited to announce our new Welcoming Library to the children’s room — just ahead of Immigrant Heritage Month in June! With 60+ books, the Welcoming Library‘s goal is for readers to meet their neighbors by exploring books set in immigrant communities, and learn to create a welcoming environment for all! Funded in part by a grant from the New London Rotary Literacy Committee, and the Friends of the Newbury Public Library, we hope you’ll stop in and check out these wonderful stories!
