Art Exhibit At Newbury Old Home Day
Call for Entries: In celebration of our annual Newbury Old Home Day, the Town of Newbury will host an art exhibit featuring local artists. We would like to invite you to display your artwork during this event. The exhibit may include paintings, photography, rug braiding, handmade baskets, pottery, woodworking, etc. All pieces will be displayed in a public area with potential high foot traffic and combined with other events. The Town shall not be liable for any lost, stolen and/or damaged pieces. Fragile and unstable items are discouraged. All paintings and photography must be ready to hang (wire across back). All paintings and photography must be framed or gallery wrapped.
Demonstrations: Artists displaying in the exhibit are invited to demonstrate their craft either outside the exhibit or inside depending on the nature of their craft.
Artists are welcome to price their work, display contact information and bio inside the Town Office Exhibit. We will also include participating artists on our Old Home Day Facebook page.
Exhibit Entry/Contract Deadline: Thursday June 27th, 2019 (Deadline has been extended)
Exhibit Date: Saturday, July 13th 2019, 10am – 5pm
Exhibit Location: Newbury Town Offices, 937 Route 103, Newbury NH
Drop off date: Thursday July 11, 2019 between 8am – 4pm
Pick up date: Monday, July 15, 2018 between 8am – 4pm

The final number and size of pieces to be accepted by each artist will be determined after the June 27, 2019 deadline. Space is limited and will depend on type and size of submissions. Please provide a description of artwork (emailed images encouraged) and dimensions.
