High school students can search by keyword or by topic to find the most useful search results to help with homework assignments. Results can be sorted easily by source type—magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, primary source documents, country reports, state reports, biographies, photos, or flags.

Kids Search

Kids Search is designed especially for youth in grades 5-8. Kids Search makes it easy for students to search for information on animals, arts & music, geography, health, language arts, math, news, science, social studies, and sports. Results can be easily sorted by source type - -magazines, reference books, photos, flags, etc. Kids Search includes the American Heritage Children's Dictionary and Funk & Wagnall’s New World Encyclopedia databases.

Students in Grades 5-12 can search topics in current events, sports, medicine, education, environment, human rights, energy, and more. TOPICSearch contains full text for over 150,961 articles from 475 diverse sources including international and regional newspapers, EBSCO's unparalleled collection of periodicals, biographies, public opinion polls, book reviews, pamphlets, and government information.

Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas.

MAS Ultra - School Edition Designed specifically for high school libraries, this database contains full text for nearly 500 popular high school magazines. It also provides more than 360 full text reference books, 85,670 biographies, over 107,000 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of over 510,000 photos, maps & flags, color PDFs and expanded full text backfiles (back to 1975) for key magazines.

Middle Search Plus provides full text for more than 140 popular middle school magazines. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full text is also available for thousands of biographies and historical essays. Middle Search Plus also contains 84,774 biographies, 105,786 primary source documents, and a School Image Collection of photos, maps and flags.

Primary Search provides full text for more than 70 popular magazines for elementary school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles) and full text information dates as far back as 1990.
