Student in grades 3-5 are invited to attend Tinker Club on Thursday afternoons 4-5pm during the school year. This program focuses on science, technology, engineering and art activities.

Adventure Club welcomes all students in grades K-2 to its meetings on Tuesday afternoons 4-5pm during the school year. A different theme is chosen every week. Sessions begin with the reading of a book based on the theme followed by a related craft activity and time for building with Legos.

This one-on-one program is for students who would like extra help with reading or would like to practice reading with someone different. Parents may call the library to schedule a 50-minute timeslot for their child to read with Lea.

Story Hour for pre-schoolers is held every Wednesday from 10:30AM to 11:30AM in the Children's Room. This program features reading from a popular book for children and is often followed by a simple craft activity.

The book discussion group meets on the first Monday of every month at 7PM. Every month the group picks one book to read and discuss. Biographies, histories, and stories about New England are popular subjects although the range of topics varies with the interest of the group. All book aficionados are welcome to participate.

The poetry group meets on the second Monday of every month at 7PM to share their work. The group is led by award winning author Dianalee Velie. Anyone who has an interest in writing or listening to poetry is invited to participate.

In addition to regular programs the library hosts a variety of programs and events throughout the year. We welcome suggestions for programs that would be of interest to library patrons. If you have an idea for a program that you would like to see, or to present, please speak with a librarian.
